Calendar of field trips for 2011 is ready

January 20, 2011. The program of field trips for the two sampling sessions has been published. Nodes delegates have one month to review it and make any adjustments.

Mid-year REDCAM semminar held at Tamaca Hotel in Santa Marta

December 26, 2010. Starting in December 15, during 3 days, the REDCAM team met in Santa Marta to discuss the results of the monitoring thorugh 2010 and review the development of REDCAM in its ninth year of activities. We made adjustments to the sampling protocols and unified measuring units.

Succesfull completion of field monitoring ended in November.

December 5, 2010. The 562 stations over the 12 coastal states of Colombia were visited from July through November. Together with the delegates of the REDCAM nodes, the scientists of INVEMAR collected samples for physical, chemical and microbiological analysis. A total of 1564 samples were brought to be processed in the laboratories at Santa Marta.
